Dr. Piyakaset Suksathan, former Deputy Director, Queen Sirikit Botanical Garden, Chiang Mai, Thailand declared the Ginger & Musa collections of Malabar Botanical Garden and  Institute for Plant Sciences as the largest collection in India.
