Ginger House
An exclusive collection of different Gingers (Zingiberales). Verities collected from various parts of India and aboard. This includes exotic as well as indigenous group of plants belonging to the families of Musaceae, Marantaceae, Zingiberaceae, Cannaceae, Heleconiaceae etc. These include plants belonging to various threat categories. The wild relatives of economically important genera such as Alpinia, Amomum, Curcuma, Elettaria, Hedychium, Boesenbergia, Musa, Canna, Maranta Zingiber etc. A good number of potential and exotic ornamentals are also grown. Most of the Gingers are economically important as foods, medicines, spices and ornamentals (Bananas, Gingers, and prayer plants).
